Divide your page into four equal parts and write the headings Would-a, Should-a, and Could-a at the top of three of them. Fill each of those spaces with one or more (very short) tales about something that would-a, could-a, should-a been different. After each of them add the words, “But, oh well…” and continue with at least one sentence that places the story or event clearly in the past and says something about the present.
In the fourth space, add something else. More information about what you wrote, some commentary on it–or anything else. Nobody is going to say you would-a, could-a, should-a written something different!
When you have filled the page, give your work a title and include the date and a signature on the page, too.
