Write about something by writing about what it isn’t.
You can choose to write about an object you can see or remember. You can write about an action or activity. You could write about a concept such as faith, confusion, or resentment.
Pick one thing for a topic. Then fill a page by describing what it’s not.
As you begin, your thoughts might feel tangled. That’s because you are asking yourself to think of two things at once. Give your mind time to settle down. You will notice that the possibilities for stating what something isnt are infinite.
Include color and illustration on your page. Read over your work when you have finished. Make small changes if you need to. Give the page a title and write the date on it, too.
