Fold a sheet of paper in half 3 times so that it is divided into 8 rectangles or boxes. Write these headings in the boxes:
Touch – Taste – Smell – See – Hear – Ideas – Others – Questions
These are tools that we use to perceive and understand the world.
- For each of the senses, record some of your perceptions using those senses.
- Under “Ideas” write some thoughts that you have had.
- In the box marked “Others” write down some things you have come to understand from others or from the outside world.
- Under “Questions” write down a few questions you don’t know the answer to.
When you have finished, give your work a title, and write the date on it as well.
