Consider your 26 words one at a time. Use each one to make some kind of comparison to something else.
Comparisons are based on qualities.
You can build a comparison by beginning with a quality—size, texture, specific gravity, durability, shape, color, etc–then think about other things that do or don’t share a quality that you choose.
Or you can begin by choosing a second word and then deciding on the quality that you will use to build your comparison with.
