If someone says, “No pain,” many people will respond, either aloud or in their mind, “No gain.”
There’s a falsehood in that notion, however. While it’s true that in overcoming pain, a person often grows, it’s not true that the way to grow is to inflict pain on yourself.
What can occur in the absence of pain? Write a page about that today.
You can write about possibilities, events, situations, mental states or physical ones. Imagine the absence of physical or emotional pain. Consider the absence of remembered or phantom pain. No pain? Then what?
Add additional color or an illustration to the page if you like. Be sure to give your work a title. Put the date on it, too.
