Many Times

January 3, 2022 By Nancy Casey

Maybe you already have a list of things that you plan or hope to do in the coming year. Today, make a list of things that you know you will do. Things that you will do not once, but many times. In other words, make a series of predictions about yourself that you know will come true.

Write sentences that fit this form:

By ___, I will have ___ many times.

For example, you might write something like: By the end of February, I will have tied my shoes many time. Perhaps you could say, By my birthday, I will have traveled around the sun many times. Or even, By the end of the year I will have grumbled about my job many times.

Consider the things that you do often. Whether you like to or not. Whether you pay attention to what you are doing or not.

Give your work a title. Put the date on it, too, along with a signature.
