Left and Right

October 11, 2021 By Nancy Casey

Set up your page before you begin to write. Draw a line at the top where the title will go. If you want to set aside some space for drawing or doodling, put it in the middle. Then draw a line down the center of the page.

Look directly to your left. On the left hand side of the page, write down some of the things that you see and make a comment about each one.

Then look to your right and do the same thing, this time filling up the right-hand side of the page.

When the writing space is full, look to your left again, and make a mental note of some of the things you didn’t write about. Tell yourself what you could have said about them.

Look to your right. Once again, notice what you didn’t write about and what you could have written.

Write a title at the top of the page. Include a signature and the date somewhere on the page, too.
