When you make a page that relies heavily on drawing and doodling, it’s an opportunity to observe what drawing, doodling, and writing have in common.
Draw a box around the writing area of the page, leaving room for a title at the top, outside of the box.
Divide the box into 5-7 sections, using straight or curved lines. The sections can appear as random or orderly as you like.
Draw a line around the inside of each section to make a frame around it.
Decorate all the frames. Inside each one, draw any kind of picture and write at least 3 words. Skip around as you do this.
When the page is full, look back over it and recall how your mind responded as you completed the various tasks.
Give your work a title. Write the date on it and sign it, too.
