Imagine that you are staying in a splendid vacation spot. Someplace with the best amenities and services.
Imagine also that you have a friend who didn’t want to come with you. Write a letter to that friend telling them how wonderful this Grand Hotel is. Make it sound so wonderful that they will be sorry they didn’t accompany you.
The only constraint: every detail that you you describe must come from your own home and surroundings.
To make your page resemble a letter even more, draw a border about an inch wide around the whole thing–like a sheet of stationery might have. Draw a rectangle at the top of the frame so you can put a title in it when you have finished.
Every time you have to pause to think up what to write, decorate the frame. Make it so that your pen is always moving, either drawing or writing, until the page is done.
