Divide your writing space into two relatively equal parts. Label one part “Old” and the other part “New.” Set aside some space at the top for a title. Leave some space to draw or doodle, too if you like.
In the “Old” part of the page, write about things that have been in your life for a long time. They can be objects or possessions. They could be attitudes, beliefs, or preferences. They could be places, people or pets. They could be nagging questions or things you understand.
Do the same for the “New” side of the page. As you write, you can skip from one side of the page to the other, or fill each side one at a time.
When the page is full, look over your work and write a title at the top. Put the date and a signature on the page, too.
