“Arrive” is a verb. It’s an action, something that happens.
“Arriving home” can be a moment or a process. It can involve stepping through a doorway, of course. Thoughts, people, plants, smells, or sounds might be what takes you home.
Consider the different places and states of mind that you would call “home.” Begin writing about one of them. Describe it and explain what it’s like to arrive there.
Give your work a title. Write the date on it, too. Put your initials or signature somewhere on the page, too.
