This is an exercise that helps you disorganize your thoughts, and connect them to something new.
Write the letters of the alphabet down the left-hand side of the page. Next to each letter, write a word that begins with that letter, the first one that pops into your head.
Return to the top and go back through your list. Next to each word write “reminds me of” and write down something, or several things that the word reminds you of. You don’t have to make the connection obvious to the reader.
When you finish with the Z-word, read over your work and make changes or additions if you like. Add decoration to the page, along with a title and a signature.
