What does the word open mean? Think about the many ways we use it:
You can open a present, an app, a spigot or a conversation.
There are open letters, open minds, open houses and open seating.
Sometimes you need a key to open something, and some things open whether you want them to or not.
Does anything open when you heal or grow? What about when time passes?
Write a page that over-uses the word open in all of its forms. Be open to drawing on it, too.
When the page is full, look over your work and make small changes if you want to. Can you think of a title that opens your writing up onto something new? Write it at the top of the page, along with the date.
