You’ll need a collection of writing or drawing tools, anything at all, as long as there are many different colors.
Fold a sheet of paper lengthwise, then crosswise, then lengthwise again, so that when you open it up the page is divided into eight squares. Draw a rectangle at the top where the title will go when you write it there at the end.
Take one color and make a mark of some kind in each of the squares. Don’t draw anything in particular, just make couple of lines, a squiggle, or a blob.
Take a second color and add a bit of that color to each square, all eight of them. Keep going like that: adding one color at a time to every square. Maybe you’ll start to see an accidental picture. Maybe you won’t. The most important thing is to enjoy the coloring.
Somewhere along in the process, somehow, add at least one word to each square.
Leave no white space. Fill up the entire page. When it’s all done, you’ll be the only one who knows what color you started with.
Write a title for the page in the rectangle you drew at the top. Put the date on it, too.
