Draw a big ‘X’ that divides your page into four sections.
Choose one of the sections and write ten good words in it. A word is “good” if you like it. You can collect the words from anywhere–daily life, pages you’ve already written, things you read, things you overhear.
Here are some more ideas for word-collecting.
After you have added ten words to one section, do the same for another section. And then another.
In the fourth section, write down the ten best words from those you have collected.
