Write down a random sentence from the world around you or from your imagination. Draw a box around it. Choose a word from the boxed-in sentence you have written down and draw a box around that.
Somewhere on the empty page, write a sentence or two about the word that you have chosen, and put all that in a box.
Draw a line to connect the word in the box with the box that contains a sentence using the word. Put a little bump in the line every time it crosses the edge of a boxor another line so that the lines look like bridges with overpasses and underpasses.
Each time you box in a sentence, choose a word that you will allow to “escape” by way of a bridge and make a sentence of its own.
Keep going until there is absolutely no space left on the page.
Give your work a title and write the date on it.
